Or is it wordless Wednesday? I forget...
I had the opportunity last week to fritter away a whole hour on the deck, it happened to be the only sunny morning in weeks so I deserved it!
Anyway I brought out a bag of peanuts which the squirrels and Jays love dearly.
I sat back in the corner of my deck and I would trow the peanuts somewhere in the middle. Then the screeching began. One Jay would tell a few more and then the squirrels came to check the feast.
Check back during the week to see the other comedians who showed up!

What an awesome shot! He looks like he's thinking, 'should I?' lol! Birds are hard to get to hold still too!
That's exactly what he was saying. I threw some peanuts on the deck and he wasn't too sure about this free meal. There was also a flash going off and my camera clicking away...
I just sat as far away as I could and sat quietly...
Tomorrow the squirrel contingent shall be heard from..

It's the strangest thing, posting a comment on your blog takes 2 clicks instead of one? I can see the word comment, but for some weird reason it's not a link, so finally I played around and clicked on the title of the post, then was able to click on the comment. Bet lots of folks who'd like to leave you a comment don't because that so strange.
Great photo of the bird. Had no idea that birds also ate peanuts.
