Geo cache in New England country side...by Vistaphotography

Pounding thunder, originally uploaded by Vistaphotography.

I recently got a GPS and I thought that I would give everyone the Lat/Long coords of locations to interesting places in New England as I travel.
I don't know how many will take the time to find these interesting locations so I'm offering a prize!! Ok don't head out to the next blog quite yet...
I will send the first person who correctly identifies the location and a special identifier at this location. Unlike geo-caching which requires that I leave something to be found and replaced by each person as they find it, you only have to identify the location.. This way you may be able to do this through the internet but I suggest you drive there to experience it..
The prize will be a high end greeting card that I create and sell on the North Shore of New England.

I will ask if you like light houses or fall scenes for your choice and then I'll pick one of my best sellers.
I'm thinking that at the end of the year I'll hold a drawing from all the winners and pull one to send them a framed print (11x14 frame size).
With that said...
Here are the coordinates...
42.38.23N
72.54.47E
The first person that correctly Identifies the marker and tells me what the plaque title says at the bottom of the marker at this location will win.
It will not be some obscure location and you have to leave the answer in the comments. The first comment that is correct will be contacted by me.

If you have any questions be sure to let me know..
Jeff

P.S. the falls to the left have nothing to do with it... Just a nice picture from Niagara falls...

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. Your photography is beautiful! I grew up in Ohio and your fall picture makes me long for maple and oak trees. I can't drive to your coordinates, I could only narrow it down by some research, but I think the spot is in the Pioneer Valley, The Mohawk Trail State Forest. The plaque may state that it was established in 1921?

close (is in the Mohawk area and route 2 in the Berkshires) but not quite there yet...
Thanks for the comment and keep researching.. I found with in 2-3 minutes of searching all the info... And I assumed someone would snap this up too easily...
I"m going to make these so you can locate them via the internet but not so that you get in under 30 seconds... Keep trying...

I just found a picture of the statue and title of the plaque underneath it in a book "American Country Sampler" So if you have this book in your home library you should be able to find the location...
